In this role, you will be instrumental during the pre-construction phase, ensuring precise cost assessments, risk evaluations, and value optimization to deliver exceptional projects that align with our clients' stringent expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate comprehensive and precise cost assessments for premium residential projects, encompassing labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Evaluate architectural plans, specifications, and supplementary documentation to create thorough cost assessments.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure all project elements are thoroughly addressed.
- Prepare tender documentation, including bills of quantities, scopes of work, and pricing frameworks.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders, adhering to all client specifications and industry regulations.
- Engage in tender evaluations and post-tender discussions to secure contracts effectively.
- Aid in the formulation of project budgets and oversee project expenditures against the budget throughout the project duration.
- Detect cost discrepancies and propose corrective measures to maintain project profitability.
- Work alongside the project team to manage change orders and variations efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a cost estimation role.
- Proficient in estimation software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong grasp of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities with a sharp attention to detail.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication capabilities.
