Beechgrove Care Home is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as eating, drinking, and using the bathroom
  • Support residents with their mobility and transfer needs
  • Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition to the care team
  • Participate in care planning and implementation to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents

Requirements:

  • SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • At least 6 months of experience working as a Care Assistant or in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including night shifts
