As a Band 5 Paediatric Nurse, you will work flexible shifts that suit your lifestyle, caring for young patients and their families while employing various strategies to communicate effectively and ensure comfort.

Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver the highest standard of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care programs within the Paediatric department.
- Utilize effective communication strategies with children, their families, the multidisciplinary team, and external agencies.
- Maintain a solid understanding of children's health needs.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and embody the Trust's promises, vision, and strategy as a professional registrant.
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking blood and fitting cannulas.
- Conduct patient observations, including vital signs, as needed throughout the shift.
- Develop care plans, perform assessments, and facilitate referrals.
- Manage patient admissions and discharges.
Qualifications Required:
- Registered nurse status.
- Current paediatric and adult basic life support certification.
- A minimum of 2 years post-graduate nursing experience.
- At least 6 months of recent NHS paediatric experience within the last 3 years.
- Successful completion of an enhanced background check.
