Trainee Solar Designer Opportunity

Alecto Recruitment is proud to be working with a national market leader in the solar and renewable energy sector.

We are seeking a full-time permanent Trainee Solar Designer to join their team and contribute to the company's continued growth.

The Role:

  • Competitive salary of 24,000 + comprehensive training, 25 days holiday & Bank holidays, and a company pension scheme.
  • Office-based position with regular working hours (8am-5pm, Mon-Fri).
  • Collaborate with senior designers to create CAD designs of Solar PV & Battery storage systems.
  • Work closely with other departments to gather project specifications and gain in-depth knowledge of solar & battery systems.
  • Provide technical support to the team and contribute to the development of solar and renewable energy solutions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in AutoCAD is essential for this role.
  • We are looking for an individual who is attentive, assertive, a quick thinker, driven, and able to manage their time and responsibilities effectively.
  • This role would suit a university/college graduate with a strong interest in renewable energy and solar design.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
