About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at Yolk Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex back-end systems using Python.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure back-end systems using Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on building complex back-end systems.
  • Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and concurrent programming.
  • Experience with Postgres and other databases, including indexing issues resolution and concurrency control.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
