SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a beautiful Primary School in South East London.
About the Role:- Support a vulnerable child with Autism in Key Stage 1 on a 1:1 basis
- Provide targeted support outside of the classroom to enhance the child's learning experience
- Deliver movement breaks, reward time, and sensory stimulating play to promote social and emotional skills
- Liaise with the SENCO to implement strategies in the child's EHC Plans
- Manage behavioural provision for the pupil and work on their social/emotional skills
- Accompany the pupil to relevant therapy sessions
- Strong skills in behaviour management
- Passion for working with pupils with special educational needs
- Ability to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
The school has an excellent and inclusive provision for students with ASD or other learning difficulties, including Social and Emotional mental health. The Head Teacher provides a stable and purposeful leadership where all staff are valued and take part in regular training.

Please note that all daily/hourly rates quoted are inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07%.
