Systems Commissioning Specialist

Overview

As a vital member of our engineering team, the successful applicant will assist our clients in the installation and activation of our advanced solutions, ensuring seamless integration of software, graphics, and building management control systems. This role is focused on delivering exceptional service within the Midlands region.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for oneself and colleagues, adhering to site protocols, project method statements, and risk assessments, in line with Schneider Electric's Health & Safety Systems.
  • Conduct pre-commissioning of control panels and field devices for both new and existing systems.
  • Execute commissioning of controllers, networks, and field devices to establish a fully operational control system.
  • Integrate third-party systems with existing infrastructures.
  • Develop and commission controller software, including the Graphical User Interface.
  • Facilitate the handover and demonstration of the completed system to clients and consultants.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar position is beneficial, though comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Understanding of HVAC control principles.
  • Proven ability to work in a customer-centric environment.
  • Capability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
Educational Background:
  • A background in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred due to the technical nature of the role.
