Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Multi-Site General Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering the Freedom Leisure business plan and ethos across our leisure facilities in the Worcester contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational leadership and business focus to deliver the Freedom Leisure business plan and ethos across the leisure facilities.
- Oversee the financial and operational performance of the facilities at our St Johns Sports Centre & Nunnery Wood Sports Complex.
- Work with partners and clients to ensure excellent customer service is being delivered and increase participation at the centres.
- Lead and motivate a staff team to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement and retention.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
- Experience of problem solving, customer service, and staff management.
- At least three years in an operation management (or equivalent) role in a leisure environment.
- A high awareness of industry developments, new activities, trends, and research.
- Commercial awareness which translates into a successful and financially viable operation.
- IT skills including the ability to produce and interpret reports and data.
- Communication skills, demonstrated both verbally and in writing.
- Time management skills - able to deal with a number of priorities at once.
- Ability to present information confidently to individuals and groups.
- Strong people management skills.
- Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries, demonstrate interest, and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues.
- To be able to work flexibly with a good level of autonomy.
- Mobility to travel across sites.
