Job Title: Materiality Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Materiality Designer to join our team at Contechs. As a Materiality Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing sustainable and responsible colour and materials content for our luxury brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop sustainable and responsible colour and materials content for our luxury brands.
  • Research trends, consumer insights, and competitor benchmarking to stay up-to-date with the current market and create material strategies for future implementation.
  • Develop new colours and materials, create mood boards, and realise material concepts.
  • Design, develop, and implement colour and material design proposals for concepts and design vision properties.
  • Support Interior and Exterior teams with asset creation.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with external suppliers.
  • Translate material concepts from 2D to 3D product and develop materials to adhere to approved test specifications.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Design or Arts Degree.
  • Design software competency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • A good understanding of materials and colour, the design industry, and luxury brands combined with good aesthetic judgement, colour vision, and colour perception.
