About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our client's Wills and Probate team. As a Private Client Solicitor, you will be responsible for drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, deeds of variation, probate matters, and other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney: You will be responsible for drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney for clients, ensuring that their wishes are accurately reflected.
  • Probate Matters: You will handle probate matters, including tax and trusts, and complex estate accounts.
  • Dealing with Elderly Clients and Mental Health Matters: You will work with elderly clients and deal with mental health matters, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Court of Protection and Public Guardian Matters: You will handle Court of Protection and Public Guardian matters, ensuring that clients' rights are protected.
  • Discretionary and Nil Rate Band Trusts: You will deal with discretionary and nil rate band trusts, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Home, Hospital, and Residential Care Home Visits: You will undertake home, hospital, and residential care home visits to meet with clients and understand their needs.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of PQE experience in Private Client Law
  • Strong knowledge of Wills and Probate law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
