About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit and Accounts Senior to join our team at Absolute Executive Search. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality audit, accounting, and related client services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead audit assignments and ensure timely completion of statutory financial statements.
  2. Prepare business tax computations, partnership, and personal tax returns.
  3. Develop and implement effective accounting and bookkeeping systems.
  4. Provide expert advice on financial matters to clients.
  5. Assist with general client inquiries and provide support to trainees.
  6. Monitor and improve the quality of performance and time costs.
  7. Record chargeable time and ensure maximum recoveries.
  8. Attend relevant courses and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  9. Contribute to the delivery of ad hoc projects and assignments.
  10. Identify areas for additional services and advice.
  11. Undertake bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, supplier maintenance, and management accounts preparation.
  12. Liaise with clients to obtain relevant information for their accounts.
  13. Provide support to trainees through on-the-job coaching and supervision.
Requirements
  1. ACA / ACCA fully or part-qualified, or AAT qualified.
  2. Experience of preparing accounts and related business tax computations within a UK Practice environment.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Proven verbal and written communication skills.
  5. UK Driving Licence and access to vehicle.
