About the Position:
GPW Recruitment is in search of a skilled Airframe/Aerospace Fitter with a solid foundation in aerospace airframe and structural assembly. This role is ideal for those looking to advance their careers in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structural Assembly: Execute detailed assembly tasks such as drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fitting components including helicoils, bearings, and bushes.
- Technical Drawings: Competently read and interpret technical drawings and aerospace specifications to guarantee superior quality work.
- Sealant Application: Utilize aerospace-grade sealants as necessary during the assembly process.
- Quality Control: Ensure all tasks comply with the required aerospace standards and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in aerospace airframe or structural assembly.
- Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and aerospace specifications.
- Expertise in essential processes: drilling, countersinking, riveting, sealant application, and fitting of helicoils, bearings, bushes, etc.
- Willingness to participate in a trade test as part of the interview process.
