Job Title:

Maintenance Engineer / Machine Fitter

Job Summary:

A skilled Maintenance Engineer / Machine Fitter is required to carry out preventative maintenance, fault-find and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and low voltage electrical equipment and machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively
• Identify and repair faults on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment
• Work closely with the operations team and contractors to ensure day-to-day maintenance is completed
• Collaborate with the Assistant Site Manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules
• Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a maintenance role
• • Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
• • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• • Excellent problem-solving skills
• • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Type:

Full-Time, Permanent

Working Hours:

Primarily 40 Hours per Week over 3 shifts:

  1. 06:00 to 14:30
  2. 14:00 to 22:30
  3. 22:00 to 06:30

with a 30 min break, but flexible within the requirements of the role due to potential breakdowns. Potential Saturday and Sunday overtime for essential work.
