Head of Building Operations

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

As the Head of Building Maintenance at the University of Leeds, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of the annual Maintenance Works Plan (MWP) funded by a budget of up to £4 million. Projects will typically be in the range of £10K to £100K and you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery from inception to handover, including the compliant procurement of goods and services.

You will lead on the effective consultation, engagement and communication with a wide range of stakeholders including Faculty Facilities Managers, Building Managers, Maintenance Contract Managers, Zonal Managers and colleagues across Professional Services such as Finance Managers and Category Managers.
