Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Operations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging time-sensitive shipments, managing files, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily shipments with clients and suppliers
  • Arrange air freight, sea freight, and road/courier services
  • Manage files and documents from start to finish
  • Provide on-line tracking system updates to clients
  • Book shipments with airlines and courier companies
  • Closing files with costs and documentation

Requirements

  • Previous experience in air/sea freight, preferably export
  • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and other software
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods handling and regulations (desirable)
  • System knowledge of Boxtop and ASM CDS (desirable)

Working Parameters

This is a 5-day a week office-based role with a salary range of £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience.
