About the Role

The Bournemouth University Facilities Management function provides a critical service to ensure that students, staff, visitors, and prospective students have an excellent and memorable experience of our physical environment.

We have an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding Maintenance Services Manager who will ensure that our campus sites remain safe, secure, and vibrant and in the best possible condition.

As part of the highly regarded Estates department, you will lead a very capable in-house team, manage a multitude of contracts and contractors, and be allocated a budget appropriate to the task.

About You

We are looking for a leader who is a natural collaborator and communicator (including listener) with excellent stakeholder management skills and a customer-focussed approach.

You will have a passion for sustainability and understand the need to address climate change and ecological concerns to manage the Estate in line with our sector-leading policies.

You will also have an attention to detail with particular emphasis on Health & Safety, financial, and contractual matters.
