We are seeking a skilled Assistant Accountant (Service Charge - Commercial) to join our thriving property team at Page Personnel Finance. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks, including maintaining financial records, managing invoices, and providing administrative support.

About the Role

This is a fully office-based role based in Weybridge, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in accounting or finance and must have commercial service charge experience/commercial property management accounts. RICS knowledge is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain service charge accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with RICS regulations.
  • Prepare and review service charge budgets.
  • Produce client statements and any additional reports required.
  • VAT reporting.
  • Collaborate with property management team to resolve accounts queries.
  • Liaise with external accountants on production of year-end accounts where necessary.
Requirements
  • A strong educational background in accounting or finance.
  • Commercial service charge experience/commercial property management accounts.
  • RICS knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the property industry.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • An understanding of relevant industry regulations.
