About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Northumbrian Water. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless operation of the plant
  • Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota to ensure 24/7 coverage

Requirements

  • Time-served Mechanical Technician with ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of plant and equipment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving license
