Gordon Leak Associates Ltd is collaborating with a prominent and esteemed construction firm seeking a skilled Technical Coordinator to enhance their expanding team.

Key Responsibilities
We are in search of a proficient Technical Coordinator to become part of the Technical Team. This position will report directly to the Technical Director and will engage regularly with external consultants.

The primary objective of this role is to oversee all technical documentation, including Building Design, Highways, Drainage, Utilities, and Sustainability throughout project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with the Management team's technical directives.


  • Manage the dissemination of technical information across multiple projects to guarantee timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Review and endorse architect and engineer drawings while aiding in the management of external consultants to mitigate issues and foster robust working relationships.
  • Supervise the fulfillment of planning conditions, issue timely construction drawings, and ensure inquiries and applications are directed to statutory service providers to uphold the highest compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with various company departments to provide technical support while upholding exemplary Health and Safety standards.
  • Engage with NHBC/LABC regarding Building Regulation matters and ensure compliance, enabling the Sales team to proceed with plot releases.
  • Prepare and validate conveyance plans, legal documents, and monitor technical specifications to ensure the Technical team has the necessary approvals for the Sales process.
  • Provide CAD support as needed for projects, assisting the broader technical team to maintain high standards.
  • Occasionally step in for the Senior Technical Coordinator to offer support and attend Project Team meetings.
  • Manage street naming and numbering applications.
  • Demonstrate experience in residential development.
  • Capable of creating viability layouts and detailed planning submissions along with supporting documents.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and the generation of working drawings for construction purposes.
  • Hold an HND/HNC or equivalent qualification in construction.
  • Possess a solid understanding of general design and technical processes, along with a reasonable knowledge of building regulations.
