A boutique management consultancy assists senior leaders with complex urban regeneration projects and organisational change programmes is seeking an experienced Children's Services PMO Consultant to support across multiple projects. Many of their projects are about planning, regeneration, communications, implementing and managing change & transformation and improving the lives of communities.

They are building out a team of consultants with skills in project management, change management, financial analysis, modelling, transformation and operating model design.

You will support your team in managing multiple workstreams as part of their regeneration projects, liaise with various team members within the business, managing timelines, reporting, KPIs, etc. and work closely with and manage relationships with various internal stakeholders ranging in seniority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of multiple workstreams across regeneration projects
  • Liaise with team members to ensure effective project delivery
  • Manage timelines, reporting, and KPIs to ensure project success
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience in child services or local authority is ideal
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and understanding of sensitivities working on programmes directed at children
  • Relevant public sector experience, especially working with local government/councils
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Operating model design experience in a public sector setting is desirable
  • Resourceful, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge and/or experience within regeneration, public policy, housing, and/or education markets is advantageous

What We Offer:

  • Daily rate: Up to £250 PAYE dependent upon experience
  • Hybrid working arrangement: 1 day/week at the Cheshire East Office, with the remainder of the time working remotely
