Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant in Primary Education

Hays Education is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools in the Oldham area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils in KS1 and KS2, providing additional help with English, Maths, Reading, and Writing.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, helping pupils to achieve their full potential. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that pupils receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide additional support to pupils in KS1 and KS2
  • Assist with English, Maths, Reading, and Writing
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure pupil progress
  • Be flexible and approachable, moving between classes as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. SEND experience is desirable but not essential. You will also need to be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
