This role involves overseeing and directing the cash operations, which includes the daily distribution of customer payments received, setting up manual payments for vendors, and managing any other cash-related activities as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop weekly cash schedules
  • Distribute daily bank statement entries
  • Manage the cashier email inbox for inquiries
  • Reconcile daily credit card transactions
  • Process incoming cheques on a daily basis
  • Handle daily supplier payments and customer refunds
  • Support various cash-related projects as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the cash team
  • Analyze and reconcile suspense accounts
  • Ensure adherence to all cash policies and controls to minimize errors

Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in a cashiering role is preferred
  • Proficient in systems, particularly Excel
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance
  • Exceptional attention to detail
