About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Skilled Machinist to join our team at a well-established manufacturer with over 100 years of history. As a key member of our global organization, you will play a vital role in building a better future for our clients and the world at large.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC vertical borers and additional machinery, machining diverse components in Chrome Irons and SG Irons, and utilizing Fanuc Controls in a medium to heavy setting. You will be tasked with manufacturing components to precise specifications, maintaining a high standard of quality, and prioritizing safety.

Requirements
  • Completed apprenticeship in a relevant sector
  • Experience in CNC machining is essential
  • Experience machining castings is desirable
  • Background in heavy engineering
  • Proven track record of machining parts to precise specifications
  • Knowledgeable in programming
What We Offer
  • Competitive skilled rate £17.05 per hour
  • Shift premium
  • 37 Hours based on site
  • 25 Days holiday plus 8 statutory days
  • Pension Scheme 4% with 6% Company Contributions, 6% with 9% Company Contributions & 8% with 12% Company Contributions
