Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Maxim Recruitment. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing building projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with experience in managing building projects, including pre-contract services, cost estimates, and post-contract valuations. You will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

As a Quantity Surveyor at Maxim Recruitment, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of building projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments. You will be responsible for managing the project from start to finish, including preparing cost estimates, schedules of work, and bills of quantities. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage building projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Prepare cost estimates, schedules of work, and bills of quantities.
  • Ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage the project team, including subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong background in quantity surveying.
  • Experience in managing building projects, including pre-contract services, cost estimates, and post-contract valuations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • MRICS status or progress towards becoming Chartered.
