Job Summary:

The Support Service Engineer will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experience and technical support for our company's product range installed on wastewater treatment plants across the UK. This is a technical role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical installation work to BS7671 or its equivalent.
  • Install, service, and repair low voltage electrical control systems.
  • Install and commission instrumentation & control systems, controllers, and sensors.
  • Perform mechanical assembly/modification of pipework assemblies.
  • Conduct routine maintenance calls and probe cleaning.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and calibration of instruments.
  • Report to assigned Project Managers and take ownership of lower-valued contracts.
  • Lead working parties and demonstrate sound knowledge of Health & Safety issues and leadership skills.

Requirements:

  • ECS/CSCS card.
  • Full driving license.
  • Electrical qualifications.
  • Ability to organize and manage time effectively.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good PC literacy.
  • Ability to work well with other teams within the company.
