Position Overview:
Due to the expansion of our client, TQR, we are in search of a dedicated and driven Retail Operations Manager. This role is pivotal in leading a team to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Retail Operations Manager, you will:
- Lead and motivate retail staff to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize your retail management expertise to drive sales and improve store performance, consistently achieving key performance indicators.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills and adopt a coaching management style, ensuring clarity and transparency.
- Oversee training for retail staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards, while also addressing performance issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A proven track record in retail management with at least 18 months of experience in a customer-focused environment.
- A strong passion for sales and a proactive attitude towards team leadership.
- Experience in change management and a history of meeting and exceeding targets.
Areas of Responsibility:
You will be accountable for:
- Communication: Keeping all senior managers informed about store needs and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Security: Maintaining the integrity of the store by managing keys, safes, and alarm systems.
- Health & Safety: Ensuring compliance with legal and company health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections, and maintaining records.
- Personnel Management: Organizing staff rotas, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to dress codes.
- Merchandising and Stock Control: Collaborating with buyers on stock issues and ensuring effective display of promotional items.
- Financial Oversight: Reviewing daily sales figures, managing cash office operations, and preparing monthly sales reports.
