About the HGV Technician Role
We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Technician to join our client's team. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical work to the highest standards, ensuring that all equipment, machines, and tools are maintained in line with strict health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on the fleet of vehicles and trailers.
- Provide technical support from fault analysis through to pre-MOT prep and full vehicle overhauls.
- Perform general HGV Technician duties, including routine maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
- Hold an in-depth knowledge of HGVs and trailers.
- Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential).
- Be a fully skilled HGV Technician with industry-recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance, and repair.
