Join Vickerstock as a Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Vickerstock in Belfast. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the design of our products for manufacture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets manufacturing and quality requirements
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure designs are optimized for production
  • Develop and maintain design documentation and records

Requirements:

  • Relevant 3rd level engineering qualification (HND/HNC/Degree)
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in Mechanical Design
  • Proficiency in Autocad and Solidworks (or similar)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
