Job Title: Midday Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our team at Derby City Council. As a Midday Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising children during lunchtime, promoting good behaviour, and engaging them in positive play activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervising children during lunchtime, encouraging social interaction, and ensuring any issues are dealt with and reported.
- Ensuring good behaviour is promoted during play, lining up for lunch, and in the dinner hall.
- Organising positive play activities, mainly outdoors, but occasionally indoors during wet play, to ensure children learn to engage and interact positively with each other.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and has a good sense of humour. You must be able to engage with children and promote positive behaviour. If you are a reliable and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with children, we would love to hear from you.
