Job Summary

As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users to live their lives to the full. You will work collaboratively with our team to provide person-centered care, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support service users with daily living tasks, including washing, dressing, and continence care
  • Assist with feeding, hydration, oral care, hair care, nail care, and emotional support
  • Encourage participation in activities and community support
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Provide emotional support and stimulation to service users

Requirements

  • No formal qualifications required, although a Care Certificate or NVQ 2/3 (or equivalent) is beneficial
  • A good level of English
  • A warm and friendly personality
  • A good communicator
  • Able to use initiative
  • Able to work in a team as well as on your own at times
  • Reliable
