Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant to provide essential support to a friendly female wheelchair user living with her family. This role involves assisting with personal care, household management, childcare, and shopping.
Location: Cromer
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing and dressing.
- Providing domestic support such as cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
- Driving a wheelchair-adapted vehicle for errands and grocery shopping, with the client accompanying when possible.
- Supporting the client in caring for her children.
Training: Training will be provided to ensure you are confident in using all necessary specialist equipment.
Person Specification:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Female candidates are preferred due to the personal care aspects of the role.
- Dependable and trustworthy.
- Family-oriented attitude.
Terms and Conditions:
- Hourly rate: £11.68.
- Work hours: Up to 10 hours per week, with flexibility for holiday and sickness cover. Specific days and times will be discussed during the interview.
- Annual holiday entitlement: 5.6 weeks.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, funded by the employer, prior to starting employment.
- Completion of a satisfactory 6-month probationary period.
