Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant to provide essential support to a friendly female wheelchair user living with her family. This role involves assisting with personal care, household management, childcare, and shopping.

Location: Cromer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing and dressing.
  • Providing domestic support such as cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
  • Driving a wheelchair-adapted vehicle for errands and grocery shopping, with the client accompanying when possible.
  • Supporting the client in caring for her children.

Training: Training will be provided to ensure you are confident in using all necessary specialist equipment.

Person Specification:

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Female candidates are preferred due to the personal care aspects of the role.
  • Dependable and trustworthy.
  • Family-oriented attitude.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Hourly rate: £11.68.
  • Work hours: Up to 10 hours per week, with flexibility for holiday and sickness cover. Specific days and times will be discussed during the interview.
  • Annual holiday entitlement: 5.6 weeks.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, funded by the employer, prior to starting employment.
  • Completion of a satisfactory 6-month probationary period.
