Job Summary:
LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Campus Safety Liaison Officer & Intervention Support Lead to join a large and successful Birmingham college. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a first-class Security and wellbeing service to all staff, students, and visitors, monitoring all areas of the college and intervening with challenging behaviours where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance day-to-day public relations by providing information and assistance to students, staff, and visitors.
- Develop and operate intervention strategies to manage and improve student behaviour.
- Work closely with college staff to identify and address potential security and wellbeing issues.
- Monitor and report on security and wellbeing incidents.
- Collaborate with external agencies to provide support and guidance on security and wellbeing matters.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a related field, such as policing, probation, youth work, or community work. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups. A strong understanding of security and wellbeing principles and practices is essential.
