Job Description

Role Overview:

As a key member of the ENVEA Global engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the design, build, installation, and commissioning of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and fixed gas detection projects. Your primary function will be based on client sites, requiring you to work away from the office between Monday and Friday, unless needed to assist in the workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build electrical control panels, racks, and products to meet project specifications.
  • Install wiring and component support systems, including trunking, DIN rail, and containment.
  • Install instrumentation and control equipment, integrating systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Carry out installation, identification, and termination of mains, LV, control, communication, and I/O wiring.
  • Design, layout, and fit out pneumatic systems within projects.
  • Fit out analyser housings to drawings and schematics, ensuring precise installation.
  • Install cable support systems, including tray, basket, conduit, and support channels.
  • Install panels, racks, and ancillary equipment, including lighting, power distribution, and ventilation.
  • Perform quality control testing and resolve defects to ensure project completion.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within an industrial installation team, production, or manufacturing setting.
  • Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, or equivalent in relevant areas of electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and schematics.
  • IT literacy and technical knowledge of electrical control systems, panel build, and electrical installation.
  • Proven successful track record in fault finding and diagnostics.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regs or good understanding of wiring regulations.
  • Pneumatic experience and IPAF certification.
  • COMPEX qualification or experience, CCSNG, and a valid driving license.
