Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to join our team at Oliver Bernard, a leading media company with a global presence. As a Web Developer, you will be working with our established PHP, WordPress / JavaScript team during an exciting period of growth across the company.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a market-leading company and continue to grow your skillset in PHP, WordPress, and JavaScript. You will be working on a variety of projects, including developing and maintaining our website, as well as contributing to the development of new features and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain our website using WordPress, PHP, and JavaScript
  • Contribute to the development of new features and functionality
  • Work collaboratively with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Ensure high-quality code and adhere to best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to colleagues

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with WordPress
  • Strong understanding of Gutenberg
  • Strong knowledge of testing
  • Leading PHP experience - any framework (Symfony, Laravel, Zend, etc)
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript - (React, Vue.JS, Angular, etc)
  • Experience of working in an agile environment
