Care Assistant
Are you passionate about providing care? Do you want to assist individuals with mild learning disabilities in leading fulfilling and independent lives?
We are seeking dedicated Care Assistants to become part of our newly established supported living service. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a team to support 17 individuals in their own residences, each with unique interests and hobbies, including shopping, cooking, swimming, and participating in various activities such as film nights and pampering sessions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and support
- Administering medication
- Assisting with daily living skills
- Facilitating engaging activities for the individuals you support
As a member of our supportive team, you will have the opportunity to reach your full potential.
Shift Patterns: Day shifts from 7am to 10pm or night shifts from 10pm to 7am, with alternate weekends. We offer both part-time and full-time hours.
Experience: While prior experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health challenges is advantageous, it is not a requirement. We welcome individuals new to the care sector and are committed to providing the necessary support and training.
This role is incredibly rewarding, with each day presenting new experiences. Comprehensive training will be provided, including working towards the Care Certificate and additional courses in learning disability awareness, autism awareness, and mental health awareness.
Join Radis Community Care, a prominent provider of community-based social care and support for vulnerable adults and children across England and Wales. We are dedicated to caring for a diverse range of service users, including the elderly and those with physical and/or learning disabilities.
