We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team at Jark - Cambridge. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing tenders to a high standard, obtaining competitive quotations from Mechanical specialists, and developing working relationships with design consultants, main contractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure tenders are prepared to a high standard
- Strong skills in Mechanical Estimating and Cost Control
- Obtain competitive and accurate quotations from Mechanical specialists
- Liaise with other members of the estimating team and contracts managers
- Carry out estimates using Mechanical packages
- Develop working relationships with design consultants, main contractors, and clients to establish communication paths
- Previous experience of a similar role within a building services contracting environment
- Electrically qualified, with associated qualifications
- Proven track record of successfully tendering for projects ranging from £500k-2.5million
As a Mechanical Estimator at Jark - Cambridge, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-run family-owned regional M&E contractor, with a rich history of delivering incredible projects across East Anglia. You will be based out of our head office, tendering for Contracts up to £2.5million.
