About the Role

Pareto FM is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team and play a key role in our growth strategy. As an Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for managing and quoting FM tenders, working closely with our Sales Director to prepare winning tenders, bids, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end management of the estimating process, including early understanding of tender and submission requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities for bid submission and compiling detailed cost models for review by the Sales Director.
  • Supply chain management for obtaining quotes for new business tenders and collaboration with key team members to obtain required information.
  • Working with the sales team to develop a clear strategy for each bid and researching current and future market trends relating to Facilities Management pricing.
  • Setting input requirements and agreeing realistic deadlines in line with bid timescales and ensuring all relevant parties are engaged throughout the process.
  • Driving continuous improvement through internal and customer reviews.
Requirements
  • Relevant engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent) and strong Facilities Industry Knowledge.
  • Proven track record in FM tendering and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, particularly engineering and account management.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and reprioritize workload in line with changing demands, as well as maintain a flexible attitude to work tasks and workload.
  • Competency in MS Office software, notably Excel, and creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to maintain confidentiality.
