**Job Summary**

Arcus Search is seeking an experienced AWS Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and operation of Azure infrastructure across the organization, ensuring compliance with governance and security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate Azure deployments using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
  • In-depth understanding of Azure Identity, including Service Principals, Enterprise Applications, and App Proxy configurations
  • Strong familiarity with Windows Server operating systems (Server 2016 and above)
  • Solid grasp of networking principles, particularly in relation to cloud environments
  • Basic knowledge of SQL database administration, both on virtual machines and as a PaaS offering
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop deployment and management
  • Utilize DevOps tools to develop repeatable deployment processes and management strategies for Azure resources
  • Ensure cloud environments are secure, high-performing, and available, addressing any potential risks proactively
  • Participate in disaster recovery initiatives, including regular testing and maintaining readiness for disaster recovery scenarios
  • Conduct root cause analysis for issues and proactively identify infrastructure risks
  • Assist in shaping the IT roadmap and service improvement plans with a focus on Microsoft technologies
  • Implement changes following the IT change management process and participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
  • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and Microsoft Azure updates to continually enhance the organization's cloud capabilities
  • Ensure that data retention and residency requirements are consistently met
