Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in both group and individual settings
  • Substantial background as a qualified mental health practitioner at band 6 level or equivalent
  • Expertise in utilizing various assessment tools and a thorough understanding of clinical methodologies
  • Experience in supervising both staff and students
  • Diverse experience working with clients facing a variety of mental health challenges

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

  • Ability to tailor interventions for complex cases, including young individuals who are neurodiverse or have encountered early trauma.

Educational Background

Essential Educational Criteria

  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing, Social Work, or Clinical Psychology
  • Postgraduate Qualification or equivalent professional experience
  • Evidence of relevant post-qualification training in therapeutic interventions (such as CBT, DBT) and leadership
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Social Worker, Clinical Psychologist, Nurse (NMC), or Occupational Therapist
