The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join our multi-skilled team at Crawley Asphalt, producing and supplying asphalt to the South East of England.
Key Responsibilities:- Control and operate fixed and mobile plant to produce asphalt while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, quality, sustainability, efficiency, and environmental awareness.
- Manage the loading of vehicles via control systems, program and schedule materials for production, and enter data into the company's internal management system.
- Ensure vehicle compliance with workplace transport plan requirements, answer and make phone calls to relevant order offices, and load shovel operations.
- Conduct pre-start inspections, report defective equipment, monitor aggregate stocking levels, and feed material into the asphalt plant.
- Operate machinery efficiently to reduce costs and emissions, conduct mixing operations to BSI:9001 specification, and support maintenance teams with maintaining and monitoring fixed plant equipment.
