We are seeking a Senior Data Consultant to join our Data practice based in Milton Keynes.

As a Data Consultant, you will work on projects, executing data-driven tasks, and providing recommendations to clients to enhance project scalability.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering first-class data consulting services to clients, recommending best approaches for technical issues and business solutions.
  • Designing and implementing data warehouses, data lakes, or data lakehouses.
  • Developing ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
  • Providing technical delivery, analysis, and design of solutions and projects in data engineering.
  • Collaborating with project managers to lead projects in complex environments.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years' experience working with data.
  • Strong understanding of data integration techniques and solution/performance optimization.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL, Python, or Spark.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines.
  • Coaching and mentoring experience.

Desired Technologies & Experience:

  • Git and JIRA software and backlog management tools.
  • Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker.
  • Matillion, Talend, Pentaho, SSIS, DBT, Fivetran.
  • Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB, or Redshift.
  • Building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analytical skills including the ability to apply a range of analytics, visualization, and data science techniques.
