Role: Science Teacher

Supply Desk is partnering with a secondary school in West Drayton to find a qualified Science Teacher. The ideal candidate will have effective planning skills, strong classroom management abilities, and a good subject knowledge of the Science curriculum.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be teaching Science and will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments and will have strong classroom management skills.

Requirements
  • Have the right to work within the UK
  • Have experience working within a classroom
  • DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
  • Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
  • Good subject knowledge of Science curriculum
  • Have strong classroom management skills
  • A QTS or PGCE or overseas trained teacher to UK equivalent
  • Marking and planning are compulsory with this role
