Theatre Practitioner

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our theatre team. As a Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients undergoing surgery, maintaining a safe environment, and completing accurate documentation.
Main Duties of the JobWe have 11 theatres at the Royal Blackburn site and 17 at Burnley General, carrying out a wide range of elective and emergency surgery through various specialties. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing workload, and adapting to changing needs.
Working for Our OrganisationWe are a university teaching trust, offering comprehensive training packages and investing in our workforce. You will be supported by a team of dedicated Practice Educators and encouraged to develop your skills and clinical knowledge.
Detailed Job Description and Main ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for providing expert standards of care to patients, maintaining a safe environment, and completing accurate documentation. You will also be required to act as scrub/circulating nurse and/or anaesthetic/recovery nurse, depending on your qualification and experience.
