Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in Substance Use and Mental Health

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Substance Use and Mental Health services. As a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing pharmaceutical care to patients across our Substance Use service and in-patient Mental Health services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients across Substance Use and Mental Health services
- Develop and implement clinical knowledge and service development skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and economic use of medicines
- Contribute to education and training of other professionals and facilitate implementation of local and national guidelines
- Participate in local multidisciplinary patient safety initiatives
- Registered pharmacist with a background in hospital, primary care, or community pharmacy
- Experience of working in more than one of these areas is advantageous
- Desirable to have previous experience of working within a Mental Health environment
- Relevant post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or equivalent experience is desirable
- Independent prescribing qualification or willingness to become a prescriber within an agreed timescale is essential
