The primary objective of this position is to ensure the seamless operation of refrigeration systems within the designated area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform servicing and maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks with precision and high standards.
- Utilize online resources for preliminary fault diagnosis.
- Complete Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) tasks efficiently.
- Oversee assigned tasks, adhering to the maintenance schedule to fulfill client and organizational requirements, ensuring uninterrupted operation of all refrigeration systems.
- Contribute to effective resolutions for complex issues.
- Utilize parts effectively, including managing delivery, collection, and returns.
- Maintain accurate and timely service records and timekeeping information.
- Update client reporting systems promptly and accurately.
- Engage in additional tasks as required by Space Engineering Services to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct site and equipment surveys as needed.
- Assist Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with inventory management by keeping track of van stock.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of all necessary documentation, including electronic logs.
- Support supervisors in arranging coverage for absences due to holidays or illness.
- Keep clients, SMEs, and office personnel informed of potential issues and necessary actions for resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all client and company logging requirements, including ATAS, completion notes, and maintenance reports.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in refrigeration systems.
- Understanding of the fundamental refrigeration cycle.
- Possession of F-gas category 4 certification.
- Demonstrated competence in both electrical and mechanical applications.
- A valid UK driver's license.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to adapt to client needs.
- Experience or capability to lead a team in maintaining refrigeration display cabinets.
- A positive attitude and proactive approach to work.
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and independence.
- Ability to communicate openly and work collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to quality and meticulous attention to detail.
