TXM Recruit is currently seeking a skilled Pipefitting Specialist to join our team, focusing on high-end residential projects for a prestigious property management firm.

This position offers a standard workweek of 40 hours, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, and ample opportunities for overtime.

Weekend work will be required on a rotating shift basis, approximately once every four weeks, subject to change based on operational needs.

During peak seasons, particularly from May to October, candidates must demonstrate adaptability regarding their working hours and days.


Compensation:

Annual salary of £37,000, with overtime compensation at time and a half for hours worked beyond the standard 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including hot and cold-water services, sanitation, waste disposal, and central heating.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues with drainage and piped services.
  • Conduct testing of closed-loop heating circuits to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support team members as needed and maintain an inventory of plumbing supplies.
  • Engage regularly with colleagues and management to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Provide coverage for absent colleagues as required.
  • Comply with all company policies, particularly those related to health and safety.
  • Participate in seasonal shifts and on-call duties as necessary.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • City & Guilds 6089 NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
  • Unvented hot water systems certification.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and COSHH.
  • Familiarity with building codes and standards.
  • Possession of personal hand tools.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proven experience in the plumbing field.
  • Valid UK driving license.
