About the Role

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EFL Teaching Assistant to join our team at a renowned institution committed to providing high-quality English as a Foreign Language (EFL) education to students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Job Overview

We are looking for an individual who can assist EFL teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, support students in improving their English language skills, and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help bridge the gap for learners where English isn't their first language
  • Work in partnership with other members of staff to support the learners in their care
  • Support the class Teacher with the planning for the lesson
  • Support learners individually, in small groups and on a full-class basis
  • Engage learners with both classroom and outside-classroom activities
  • Work in accordance to the school's behaviour management policies
Requirements
  • Registration as a School Learning Support Worker with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council)
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
