Position Overview

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Gatehouse and Operations Managers, overseeing the efficient and precise management of vehicle movements from arrival to departure. The main objective of this position is to ensure the secure and timely ingate and outgate of vehicles on the premises.

This position is essential to the operational success of the organization, requiring a detail-oriented individual who values accuracy in their work. All recorded information must be verified upon both receipt and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the receipt and dispatch of loads efficiently and securely to enhance shift productivity while adhering to established operational protocols.
  • Interact with drivers at both the inbound and outbound gates.
  • Collaborate with Operations Controllers to ensure the warehouse is adequately prepared and to assign parking bays for vehicles.
  • Conduct thorough checks and seal vehicles upon exiting the premises, ensuring all documentation is accurate for the load.
  • Complete all inbound and outbound documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Utilize the inbound schedule to allocate delivery slots effectively.
  • Monitor site security through CCTV systems.
  • Assist with any necessary security checks or searches on site.
