About the Role

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatrician to join our Elderly Medicine department. As a Consultant in Geriatric Medicine, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients with complex geriatric needs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways.
  • Lead and motivate the geriatric team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement innovative services to meet the needs of our ageing population, working closely with external agencies and stakeholders.
  • Engage in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards.
  • Contribute to the development of our geriatric medicine curriculum, ensuring that our trainees receive the best possible education and training.
