About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Paraplanner to join our team at Dawn Consulting (Sw) Limited. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in providing financial planning support to our clients, working closely with our Client Managers to build and implement comprehensive financial planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality client recommendations, covering a wide range of financial planning areas, including pensions, investments, estate planning, and protection.
  • Undertake technical research and analysis for existing and new investment portfolios.
  • Assist with dealing as required.
  • Provide technical support to Client Managers and other Paraplanners.
  • Contribute to the development of best practice within the Financial Planning Team.
  • Continuing professional development, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation, investments, and technology.
Requirements
  • 12 months + experience in a similar role.
  • An understanding of all areas of financial planning, including cashflow planning, investment portfolio management, tax planning, pensions, protection, and estate planning.
  • Diploma qualified (Dip PFS) or close to becoming diploma qualified.
  • Proficient in financial planning software, capable of leveraging such technology to streamline processes and analysis.
  • A strong technology, problem-solving, and mathematical aptitude.
